Transparent Deliverables
Most drone services hand you a folder of photos and call it done. We document every shot type so you know exactly what's covered before we fly. Base inspection shot types are included in every inspection booking. Add-ons available.
A complete pass around the entire building at a consistent altitude and distance. Every side of the roof edge, gutters, and fascia are documented. This is the foundation of every inspection — nothing is skipped. Included in all inspection packages.
1-2 pulled-back shots of each face to document overall condition and flag any major visible damage. Good for getting a general read on each side of the roof before any detail work. Included in all inspection packages.
A straight-down top view of the building with most of the structure filling the frame. From this angle you can see every roof plane, valley, ridge, and penetration at once. It's the single most useful orientation shot for contractors and adjusters. Included in all inspection packages.
Close-up shots flown directly along each ridge line from above. Ridge cap shingles are one of the first places storm damage shows up — lifted caps, cracked shingles, and missing pieces are all clearly visible from this angle. Often overlooked by standard inspection methods. Included in all inspection packages.
The drone is flown to within approximately 6 feet of each individual roof plane, capturing 8-20 images per face. At this distance you can see individual shingles, granule loss, lifted edges, hail strikes, and micro-cracking that are invisible from standard inspection altitude. This is the detail level insurance adjusters need for accurate damage assessments. Available for shingled rooftops.
Dedicated shots aimed directly down into each valley — the channels where two roof planes meet. Valleys are high-risk zones for water infiltration, flashing failures, and debris buildup. This angle often reveals damage that standard top-down shots miss entirely.
Individual close-up documentation of every item that passes through the roof surface — including exhaust stacks, turbine vents, box vents, skylights, chimneys, and fan ducts. Each penetration is a potential water entry point. Flashing boots, collars, and seals are all clearly visible at this resolution. An overview shot of all penetrations per plane is included, plus individual close-ups of each item.
The drone is positioned below the roof edge and aimed upward, documenting the soffit and fascia from underneath. Soffit vents, fascia condition, and the underside of roof overhangs are captured — areas that are completely inaccessible from above and rarely inspected. Blockages, damage, and pest intrusion points all show clearly from this angle.
A dedicated golden hour or twilight shoot timed to the best light of the day. Warm tones, dramatic shadows, and glowing windows make properties look their absolute best. Available as an add-on to any photography package. Scheduling subject to weather and daylight windows.
Hundreds of overlapping aerial images are processed into a single scale-accurate, top-down map of the property. Unlike a standard photo, an orthomosaic is geometrically corrected — meaning you can take real measurements directly from the image. Used by insurance adjusters, contractors, and property managers to calculate roof area, plan repairs, and document conditions over time.
A fully navigable photogrammetry-processed 3D model of the structure, built from hundreds of overlapping aerial images. Clients can rotate, zoom, and inspect every surface from any angle. Used for insurance documentation, contractor bid packages, and property records. Point cloud data available on request. Hosted and shareable via link — no software needed to view.
Cinematic aerial video of the property — sweeping reveals, orbit shots, and dynamic flyovers that photos alone can't capture. Ideal for real estate listings, marketing materials, and social media. Delivered as edited 4K footage. The Premium photography package includes a 60-90 second reel. Additional footage can be added to any package.
